I'll say off the bat, if you can't handle any form of spice, this chocolate is not for you. But as their description says, if you have a "discerning palate" or you're a foodie looking for something different, I would recommend giving this one a try. At first taste, you definitely feel the warm heat of the chilli. As you continue to eat, you'll notice the richness of the dark chocolate (72% is perfect). I really like this combination but I personally found the flavour to be a bit 2 dimensional (I've seen another brand include cinnamon to round it off). But overall I really enjoyed this chocolate bar - they really brought the spice on this one.
Spice, smokiness, and dark chocolate that is still creamy and keto and gluten free? Sign me up. Sadly I live in NY so I don't have regular access to this product, but will definitely stock up when I go back to Montreal!
You cannot taste even a hint of chocolate, because the spice is MUCH too strong. Burned my tongue. Seriously.
